How Do I Become a Travel Coach?

Travel Team Coach Qualifications as governed by the Bridgewater Youth Soccer - Rules and Regulations:
- Preference will be given to voting members of BYSA when the Board of Directors select Travel Team Coaches. To be a voting member, one needs to have attended two General meetings during the prior calendar year.
- All Travel Team Coaches must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- To be a Division 1 Coach, you must have experience as an assistant Travel Team Coach or have coached within or outside of Bridgewater.
- BYSA Board of Directors prefer coaching candidates to hold the following license:
- Grade 3/4 (Formerly U10) Division 2 or below, USSF State Association "F" license or higher.
- Grade 3/4 (Formerly U10) Division 1 and older age groups, USSF State Association "E" license or higher.
- Grade 9/10 (Formerly U16) and older, USSF State Association "D" license or higher.
- BYSA will pay for all licensing fees up to and including the USSF "D" license.
- Please pay special attention to the new age group qualifications below when applying for a 2019-2020 spring travel team.
